Following the announcement from the Chancellor of the Exchequer regarding the removal of tax relief for the Government-backed Home Computing Initiative, BT Home Computing is assessing the situation and is in the process of updating customers.

BT Home Computing will fulfil and honour all orders already taken for the scheme where contracts have been exchanged by 5th April 2006. The Treasury has advised that users who are currently on the scheme will continue to receive the benefit.

Providing high quality and service to our customers is our primary concern, and BT Home Computing is doing everything it can to ensure our customers are kept informed of the status of the HCI schemes, following the budget announcements.
